Pumpkin Flavored EVERYTHING

Happy Friday everyone! I love this time of year for it's pumpkin flavored everything. I am seriously in food heaven for the next few weeks.

Today I was feeling the start of the Halloween manis and of course had some pumpkin orange going on. I actually have two to show you today because I couldn't decide which to post and I am just awesome like that. Ready for the start of the holiday spam? I hope you said yes cause I can't stop it now!

Polishes used:

  • Seche Rebuild base coat / Seche Vite top coat
  • Essie Blanc
  • Pure Ice Hot Tamale
  • Claire's Starstruck Collection Little Dipper
  • Sally Hansen Black Heart

For the first mani, I did a single coat of Hot Tamale with a single coat of Little Dipper over top and then freehanded the spikey french and triangle eyes with Black heart and a small brush. That little pumpkin face just makes me giggle, I love him.

The second mani was a needle marble that tested my patience and didn't come out anywhere near what I had hoped for. I was at the very end of my bottle of Blanc and it did NOT want to cooperate whatsoever. I'm so glad it's over with and I can open a new bottle of white polish. Since the white was acting all funky and it was my base, my swirls didn't... well swirl the way they usually do. Add to this the end of a bottle of Seche Vite and it was a top coat/base coat double team of fail. But still, I like the overall idea and there's parts of it I liked anyway so I figured I would share.

I think I am now in full on Halloween mode, I have a few ambitious ideas that hopefully go well. The beauty of Halloween art is that even if it comes out like crap you can just say well it's gross on purpose lol. Are you guys big fans of this time of year too?
