Glitter Me Maybe

Happy Friday everybody! Got anything fun happening this weekend? I need to live vicariously through you all because I'll be starting to pack the kitchen, le sigh.

Today I felt the need for some sparkle because I found a polish that I thought I lost which is one of my favorite glitters. Celebration glitters eeeeeverywhere!

Polishes used:
  • Seche Rebuild base coat / Seche Vite top coat
  • Maybelline Color Show Go Go Green
  • Sinful Colors Call You Later

Call You Later is such a great glitter packed with tons of tiny gold sparkles and small green hex glitters. I was so sad when I couldn't find it but now it's back, yay! All day long the name made me think of that song Call Me Maybe. I was all "Hey I just found you, and this is crazy, but here's some glitter, so use me maybe?" Don't judge me. Anyway, for this look I sponged Call You Later on over top of two thin coats of Go Go Green which I also really love. So far I have two of the Maybelline Color Show polishes and I love them both. I really need to find the denim shades, everywhere I look never has them. I do apologize for the condition of my hands, I didn't realize until I was getting pics ready how awful they looked. Packing tape apparently really sucks the moisture out of you. I think I need those gloves you wear overnight with moisturizer or something. Anyone have a favorite moisturizer you just can't live without?

  5. I'm loving the mani! I might steal your idea for a new glitter I have....

I love the Vaseling Aloe Vera something or other lotion. It's in a green bottle and says "non-greasy formula". I'm finishing my first huge tube of it and am on the lookout for my second one.

  7. Bahaha, I like your glitter lyrics. Hilarious. I often feel that when I'm picking a polish they are all singing that to me! And such a gorgeous gradient mani with this glitter- I'm glad you listened to it. ;)

As for amazing lotions, definitely Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. It's awesome! Totally repairs my skin overnight.

    1. LOL Thank you, thank you, I missed my calling as a songwriter I tells ya.

Ooo overnight repairing sounds kind of magic to me right now, definitely on my list!

    2. It's definitely something close to magic! Make sure to put it on right before you go to sleep, though, because it totally coats your skin with a layer of lotion-y film. In a good way, though, because you will wake up with the softest, most moisturized hands ever. I LOVE this stuff.
